Monsterpocalypse Shipment on Tuesday! Monsterpocalypse is a great new collectible miniatures game by Privateer Press, where your giant monster and its supporting minions rampage through the city in an effort to defeat your opponent's monster who is doing the same.
It's so great, in fact, that it's hard to get your hands on any.
On Tuesday, November 11th we are getting 4 Monster Boosters and 6 Unit Boosters here at Aarvark. The Monster Booster comes with a Monster miniature and its corresponding Hyper Form. The Unit Booster contains four random Units (smaller supporting troops) and one random Building. Both are $12.99.
Unfortunately we don't have any of the Starter Sets available, but this is a great opportunity to get your friends involved if you already have one! All they need is a Monster Booster and two Unit Boosters (well, one if you have a spare Building). Get them (and yourself) prepared for our tournament on November 22nd!
We apologize for not having so much in stock, but there is a distributor-level shortage. We'll continue to do our best to get whatever Monsterpocalypse packs and accessories we can until more is easily available! Stay tuned for future announcements.
We'll be hosting a World of Warcraft Drums of War draft on November 29th (that's a Saturday) at 2:30 PM. The cost to enter is $14, and you get three packs of Drums of War. Then everybody drafts and builds a minimum 30-card deck. We'll have prize support in packs as well for the top finishers.
For the first time, our tournament will be sanctioned through Upper Deck Entertainment, so you will receive a membership card and your ratings will be tracked globally. We're very excited to be able to finally offer this, and hopefully it shall pave the way for bigger and better Warcraft-related things!
D&D Delve Night Wednesday 11/19! We will be hosting another D&D Delve Night on Wednesday, November 19th at 5:30 PM. All you need to do is show up! We have some pre-generated characters ready to go, and you get RPGA Reward Points for participating!
If you plan on coming, please visit the Privateer Press Event website and create an account, then check out our venue page and pre-register for the event. If we get at least four more people at the time of this writing, then we'll be eligible to receive a prize pack, and those who pre-registered will receive a special Shadow UFO Hunter miniature!
D&D Delve Night Join us on Tuesday, November 11th at 6:00 PM for our first Dungeons & Dragons Delve Night. D&D Delve Night is a series of brief, related encounters run throughout the month, which take about an hour to an hour and a half each. All you need to do is bring a 3rd-level character, or use one of the ones we'll be providing. Dice, a pencil, and a character sheet are also big pluses!
Delve Night is an RPGA-sanctioned event, meaning you will earn RPGA points and be eligible for character cards that can be used to enhance your character in the Living Forgotten Realms campaign (among others), and occasional other D&D-related prizes as well.

World of Warcraft Minis Coming Soon! The World of Warcraft Miniatures Game will be arriving at Aardvark soon! To whet your appetite, we currently have a demo set available in the store. There's a rulebook on hand, or Shaun will be happy to teach you how to play if he's here (and he is most days!).
We're very excited about this game, and will be undoubtedly hosting some special event to celebrate the release! Check back here in about a week for more information!

This rousing tale of the Old West is available for sale here at Aardvark, and if you're one of our comic subscribers we can put a copy in your box and have it signed by the artist himself!
Dan will also be here on November 1st during our Fall Sale to sell some of his books, prints, and even some original artwork! We hope to see you here!
